Education and/or Special Training:

Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with 1–2 years of IT experience or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of IT experience required.

Job Description:

• Proven experience in WebSphere WAS administration and MQ technologies, Linux, WebSphere 5+, MQ Series 5+, JEE application design, Java/JEE concepts (JDBC, JMS/MQ, JSP, EJB, JNDI, EJB components).
• Experience with the following technologies beneficial: UNIX, Tandem and Windows, WebSphere XD technologies and Object Grid technologies.
• Experience and/or knowledge of Siteminder, SSL communication and WSADMIN scripting a big plus.
• Setting up WebSphere Network Deployment Manager and configuring it for horizontal and vertical Clustering, Configuration instances on WAS 5.x
  Setting up Global Security, LTPA, TAI and Single SignOn for WAS and WPS with TAM and Siteminder.
• Installation and Configuration of IBM Directory Server as LDAP Server.
• Expertise in load management, failover and high availability a plus.
• Experience effectively working independently on complex technical tasks with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of security concepts and their application on the WAS environment.
• Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to follow, improve upon and create processes required for effective systems administration.
• Exceptional organizational, documentation and communication skills.
