AKT IDEAS and ways to convey:
Computer Science For Community (CSC) is a student run organization aimed at promoting a transition from intensive competitive coding to creative application coding that attempts to aid the community in various fields.
We encourage the growth of young tech entrepreneurs by assisting students with both coding/technical help and scaling their application through a plethora of business tactics. Through school chapters, workshops, competitions, incubators and more, CSC hopes to make the community a better place through the creation of applications designed to help all members of society.
CSC x AKT was CSC’s first corporate international competition, and it centered around developing a platform that members of different communities can use to manage and reduce their debts while also helping them budget and plan their monthly expenses.
This personal finance challenge was aimed to help individuals who may not be good with budgeting or simply need a place to store information about their money flow. The competition involved submitting a platform, whether it was an app, website, or anything else, as well as a presentation to pitch their product. This competition serves as an important foundation for CSC’s future competitions. CSC aims to grow and expand these applications with their project owners to ensure they have more of an impact in our communities!
